Lorain County Wellness Network

The Wellness Network is a county-wide worksite and community networking system that provides credible, timely wellness information and a forum for sharing local successes and resources. The long term goal is to increase the number of comprehensive wellness initiatives and improve the quality and effectiveness of wellness programming; creating environments where the healthy choice is the easier choice.

  • One in three adults have prediabetes, and most don’t understand why they’re at risk. In March, public health nurses from the Lorain County General Health District will be in your community to discuss risk factors, ways to help prevent diabetes, and action steps following a diagnosis of diabetes. Sessions are open to all adults 55 and older in Lorain County at no cost.
