Munchies for Meetings
Choose simple snacks that are nutritious, yet delicious for meetings and conferences. It is important that nutrient-dense foods rather than calorie-dense foods are provided. Some healthy snack ideas for meetings include:
- Fresh fruit salad with a low-fat yogurt dip
- Raw vegetables with a low-fat ranch and yogurt dip
- Baked tortilla chips with salsa or bean dip
- Yogurt parfait made with low-fat yogurt, fresh or frozen fruit, and low-fat granola
- Pitas with a hummus dip
- Whole-grain tortilla wrap with low-fat cream cheese and vegetable slices, rolled up and cut into slices like pin wheels
- Whole-grain crackers with a low-fat cheese spread
- Whole fresh fruit
- Fruit and nut trail mix
- Serve ice water, iced tea, 100% fruit juice, coffee or tea as drink options
