08/09 Governor's Buckeye Best Awards Announced!
7/8/09 -- Lorain County schools are striving to provide the best education possible for our chilren. An important part of that education is teaching students how to lead healthy lifestyles and providing a school setting that allows them to begin those habits early in life.

The Governor's Buckeye Best Award program allows schools to answer questions related to their tobacco prevention policies, nutritional offerings, and physical activity oportunities for students and staff. It then awards them at various levels; recognition, bronze, silver, and gold accordingly.

Healthy, physically active children learn better!
