The Learning Connection: The Value of Improving Nutrition and Physical Activity

2/4/09 -- The Lorain County Coordinated School Health Coalition was proud to host the 2008/2009 Professional Development Series, "The Learning Connection: The Value of Improving Nutrition and Physical Activity". Resources from the workshop available for your school here.

Two full day workshops for educators were held at the Carlisle Visitor Center in LaGrange, Ohio. Participants included teachers, administrators, food service directors, school nurses, P.E. teachers,and counselors representing 14 school systems throughout Lorain County. Community partners included the Educational Service Center, the American Cancer Society, the Lorain County General Health District, the Lorain City Health District, the Elyria City Health District and OSU Extension.
